21 years of multitwinning
As JCI Hamburg, we are excited to look back on more then two decades of Ports & Bridges Multitwinning and forward to hosting the next chapter of this long-standing international tradition.
Founded in 2006, Ports & Bridges connects the JCI chapters of Antwerpen, Duisburg, Hamburg, Istanbul, Riga, Turku and Rotterdam. All participating cities are water-bound logistic hubs with vibrant harbor activities – a shared identity that has shaped the spirit of this unique international cooperation.
The purpose of Multitwinning has always been clear: to strengthen international exchange, deepen cultural and business understanding, and build lasting personal connections that enrich the European JCI network.
Now, the journey continues — and we are proud to take the lead.
JCI Hamburg will host the Ports & Bridges: Multitwinning 2027 from 26 to 29 August 2027. We look forward to welcoming our international partners to Hamburg, strengthening our bonds, and shaping the next chapter of this remarkable collaboration.
